All Freeview boxes and IDTVs sold in the UK from now on should be Freeview HD

Goal : 6 / 100000

Right now, too many non-Freeview HD set top boxes and integrated digital television sets are being sold. This is hindering the UK from transitioning all digital terrestrial broadcasts, even standard definition broadcasts to DVB-T2, which is an important step to take if the UK is to stay as a world leader in terms of television technology. With satellite television, Sky only offer Sky HD boxes to new customers, so why can't something be put in place so that from now on, when it comes to digital terrestrial equipment, only DVB-T2 h264 devices are permitted to be sold in the UK?
