Art Asia’s place in Southampton's flagship arts development is under threat. Recent proposals by Arts Council England and Southampton City Council no longer include Art Asia as an anchor tenant in Southampton's New Arts Complex.

Art Asia needs your help - Please sign the petition.


We, the undersigned, petition Arts Council England and Southampton City Council to ensure Art Asia retains its rightful place in Southampton's New Arts Complex, in recognition of:

- its role as a founding partner in the project, with nearly 10 years of investment in its development to date

- its contribution of three-quarters of a million pounds of lottery funding to the project which was specifically allocated to culturally diverse arts organisations

- its unwavering commitment to the partnership at the heart of the Southampton New Arts Complex

- the work that Art Asia has done over the past 30 years, and continues to do, as the city and region’s flagship culturally diverse organisation
