I have a website that explain in full www.pet-theft-law.co.uk
The current law is that any Pet wether Horse Dog Cat or any small animals are treated with the same status as a video or TV.
This needs to change as the action of Pet Theft increasing and looking at the Doglost website you will see that at the run up to Christmas they are being stolen to order.
The USA have changed their laws as a detterrent, with stiffer sentencing.
It is now time to address this soul distroying action to both the victim and the pet
