On the 4th of June 2007 the London Olympic Committee in the UK released the logo that will represent London in the 2012 Olympics.

The logo has proven controversial and this petition outlines the view that the logo is overpriced and looks awful.

Several other petitions have been created, totaling over 45,000 signatures. This petition seeks to consolidate the support offered by a cross-section of petitions found on the PetitionOnline.co.uk website.

We are therefore appealing to the public who have strong feelings about this issue, or have been frustrated by the closed campaign, to voice their concern on this petition.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, wish to express our concern with the new Olympic logo for the 2012 London Olympics.

The logo is poorly designed at an unacceptable expense.

We therefore ask that the logo be withdrawn and replaced with a more appropriate logo.
