O2/Vodafone have been granted prior approval to erect a 12.5 metre mobile phone mast at Tonbridge Road, Maidstone on a patch of grass near the Walnut Tree Public House and just 150 metres from local schools in Oakwood Park. Many residents are concerned about the impact that this will have on the local area as well as the uncertain health risks... If you also object to the plans then please sign our petition and this will be made available to Maidstone Borough Council and O2/Vodafone to prove to them the strength of feeling about the plan.
