We demand that every home in Boscombe central area (282) is surveyed, and if eligible inspected to ensure it meets legal standards within the next 6 months.

On 5/12/11 Chanel 4 Dispatches revealed the terrible condition of housing owned by the local landlord Dave Wells. Two homes were featured on the programme but we know that bad quality housing like this is normal in Boscombe.

The central part of Boscombe has been identified as the most deprived area in the South West, and the quality of the housing is the main cause of the problems in the area. Residents of this part of Boscombe die 10 years younger than in other parts of Bournemouth.
