Lifts for Bearsted Station's New Bridge

- sign now
Goal reached ! 108 / 100

It is unbelievable to me that the new bridge could have been installed without being DDA-compliant. I have spoken to the station master, and lifts are available as a bolt-on addition, "if there is sufficient demand."

As things currently stand, anyone in a wheelchair has to go on to Ashford and then back again to Bearsted. Buggy pushers at least have rest spaces on the new brdige.

If you feel a lift is essential, please sign this petition! And do share this link with as many locals as you can.

Thank you.
