The A326 Marchwood By-Pass is an important and busy road – but it also runs close to a number of communities, and is notoriously dangerous.

The section where it meets up with A36 Totton By-Pass at the Rushington Roundabout is particularly tricky, as it features several changes of lane numbers, the junction with Jacob’s Gutter Lane, and the high-speed merger with the rest of the A326. And it is in this section that it runs close to the Hounsdown School.

There have been a number of accidents on this stretch of road, some of them serious, and we would like to see changes made to make it safer.
