Petition to stop Tesco building an 'express' store in Ambleside

This is a petition against the building of a Tesco Express on the 'Gaynor Sports' site in Ambleside, Cumbria.
The atmosphere will be ruined by the addition of a chain store, and will put the majority of the local, independent traders out of business by undercutting prices. They will offer nothing different to the Co-op and Spar stores already in place, and will serve only to make Ambleside a ghost town.
