Save Bury Odeon from Demolition

We the undersigned are appalled by the impending demolition of The Odeon building on Rochdale Road in Bury Lancashire.
The Odeon was built in 1936 by magnate Oscar Deutsch, and closed as a cinema in 1981. Since then she has seen life as a roller rink, and 2 different stints as night clubs.
As one of the last remaining Art Deco buildings in Bury, we feel this is an important building which should be preserved and not demolished.
We implore the local government to enter discussions with the owners of this building to come up with a rescue plan.
