“We the undersigned call upon Nottinghamshire County Council to maintain a
Ranger led team based at Bestwood Country Park.
We believe that failure to do so will lead to: an unacceptable increase in anti-social behaviour and damage to the environment, a failure to properly protect important local sites and a reduction in the level of voluntary and educational work in the area. We call upon the County Council to put forward alternative plans that can be implemented in 2011/12.”
