Derby City Council have decided, in a bid to cut £23 million from their budget, to shut the City's "Youth House" young persons centre. This not only damages the valuable and effective work the centre contributes to the local community, but will leave a huge gap in the city's provision of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme. This petition is to express our up most need for a commitment from the Council to keep the city's Duke of Edinburgh scheme and reopen Youth House.
