We are the supporters of Masjid Al-Tawhid who attend, pray, learn and affiliate ourselves with the good work that is carried out here. Unlike those who claim to be the Masjid community but seldom set foot in it, we confirm, emphatically, that we are completely satisfied with the leadership of Shaykh Suhaib Hasan and the Imamate of Dr Usama Hasan. We have benefitted immensely over the past several decades from their knowledge and guidance and consider ourselves privileged to be part of this congregation.
We are appalled by the disgraceful attempts made by a number of individuals to not only discredit and demean our teachers, but seek their expulsion from the Masjid.
We demand that the instigators of this vendetta against Shaykh Suhaib Hasan and Dr Usama Hasan be expelled from the Masjid Trust forthwith.
The leaders of this hate induced campaign are Mohammed Idris Sethi (Secretary of the Masjid) and Arif Saleem (Trustee).
Both these individuals are guilty of causing chaos and disruption in the affairs of the Masjid, spreading lies and slander, misleading members of the community and other trustees by falsifying statements and events, associating themselves with known radical extremists and tarnishing the name of Masjid Al-Tawhid by their disgraceful actions.
Mohammed Idris Sethi has shown utter disregard and disrespect for the etiquettes of disagreement, taking his smear campaign to levels which have left us stunned.
Arif Saleem has made a mockery of his position in the Trust, misleading his own fellow conspirators by feeding them with lies and deceit! There naivety should also be questioned!
We urge the Muslim community to show their support for those who tirelessly work in the name of Allah. All too often it is somebody else’s problem, or another Mosque which has no relevance to us. That is the weakness which the extremists exploit and we have to act now!
It is time to reclaim our Mosques from the ignorant fanatics.
This is our time!

Usamah Hassan and his un-Islamic views do not belong in a Mosque. Period.

Despite attempts by Usamah Hassan and the UK media to portray this as a fight against "extremism", it's clear that this is simply not the case. The real issue is that his views have no place in a Muslim community, and his deeply offensive remarks toward traditional Islamic beliefs should not -- and will not -- be tolerated.

What would you know if you never even attended the mosque?
I have been praying 3 times in the mosque every day for the last 10 yrs, I even prayed at the old building. i have even worked at the mosque over this time. and have seen how this mosque operates.
Usama opinon is not islamic at all. Had this view been aired by any other mosque trustee or member Sheikh Suhain Hasan reactions would have been completely opposite.

I seem to know a lot more than you, atleast i am prepared to listen and then pass my views as for these other people as can be seen have no patience and desire on hearing what has to be said , yet just have an agenda to disgarce a honourable man. Just because you attend the mosque does not make you a better person or someone with the knowledge. Go get the knowledge and practise it first and then come and speak to me.

you wil be able to get a clearer picture to as what has been going on and what Fanactics like Arif Saleem and Sethi have been doing. I am sorry but they do not deserve the tiltle "Mr" in front of their names and then if you go to the fanatic website which i am not goign to mentioon on here you can see how that Sethi is onvolved. And "muslim atendee of the masjid AKA Sethi (most probably) please have soem back of your story before you start going on Thank you..

All the comments above do not show or prove Mr sethi and Mr Saleem of being Fanactics.
There is clearly a different agenda and these fake death threaths look like a ploy to gain sympathy.
Do you not have any shame and fear of Allah?
