Services required in conjunction with the Monk's Walk housing development.

There is now a planning application in the pipeline for 6 bungalows at the top of Monk's Walk where the garages are now situated.

The majority of people are not against this development. However, there are a certain amount of issues that need to be taken in to consideration by the Planning Committee in Stafford Borough Council when considering this application for development.

1. Lack of children's play area in Gnosall Heath. The Children play around the garage area because there is no where else in the Heath for them to play. It is too far for children to travel to the Brookhouse Road play area because of the hazards that may pose. This also features as action point G2 in the Gnosall Parish Plan 2011.

2. Updating of the sewage system.

3. Ensure the width of the road is maintained to ensure vehicles from the surrounding premises near to the garage area can negotiate their way out of their properties.

4. A provision must be made for off road parking on the grassed areas in front of the maisonettes and along the grassed areas in Impstones. This will ensure a free flow of traffic.
