childhood strokes are in the top ten deaths of children in the u.k. up to 500 children a year suffer a stroke,not all survive.the same amount of children a year are diagnosed with cancer,the solid organ cancer(brain tumors).there is a register that has been running for over 30 years for childhood cancers which has been vital for diagnosis,treatment,aftercare and support. there is not a register for childhood strokes.this needs to change.we need to monitor how many children and babies are having stroke,causes and outcome and the aftercare they receive.please sign and show your support. ... continue »
